Are you expecting a baby in the near future?

If you are an exisiting pet owner, you may have concerns about how to tackle this new, exciting change in your life?
Or you may simply just be in doubt as to how best introduce your new pet to an existing child or baby?
We can help you with this.

This year we were blessed with the addition of a new 'pup' to our menagerie - Agnes Lilly - the cute little smiler below.
She smiled from day one, and has been smiling ever since - she is especially smiley when her furry older sisters and brothers give her some hugs and kisses!  For the past year, Agnes has successfully kept a full social diary engaging her numerous four legged buddies of all types and sizes!

So not only do Anne and Martin at Tails and Trails have first hand succesful experience of how to walk this path, Martin also knows exactly the pitfalls that befall families when it all goes pear shaped. This is because he worked over a decade as a dog rehomer and trainer at a rescue centre called Friends Of Animals League in Biggin Hill, Kent.
One of the most common reasons that he got phone calls to take in pets was due to a pregnancy in the family, or problems between the dog and/or child at a later date. At the rescue, Martin helped many families work thru these issues, preventing them from needing to re-home their beloved pets.

All in all, Martin and Anne possess all the knowledge and experience necessary to help you avoid issues occuring in the first place, or to solve those you may already be experiencing

Tails and Trails can also advise you regarding the sort of dog (puppy or adult) that may be suitable to fit into your particular child based environment.
